While their debut album Ordinary Riches (Available for $7.99) helped put them on the radar, Running from a Gamble features a more mature and complete album that should help them stay on track. Album Review:
The much anticipated brand new album Bloom from the Baltimore-based dream pop duo Beach House is the latest new release featured at a discounted price. Bloom is the next progressive step for Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally and it might be the best Sub Pop record to be released this year with standout out tracks that include ‘Myth’, ‘Other People’, ‘Wishes’ and the almost 17-minute long album capstone ‘Irene’.

Album Review:
Samplers can be hit or miss but when they’re free, you tend to be more forgiving. No need for forgiveness on this excellent collection of modern new age songs from Anael & Bradfield. With over an hour of music, this album provides exposure for the artists and free music for listeners, a win, win situation. Don’t tell Bradfield, but I think I like the music from Anael a little better.

<Strangeland by Keane>
Album Review:
For their fourth full release, English alternative rock band Keane has put together an album with more intricacies than before coming off as more of an indie pop sound than alternative. While receiving somewhat mixed reviews, Strangeland by Keane is a great list of upbeat songs and deeper lyrics showing that the 15 year old band still has some tricks up their sleeves.

Album Review:
Indie Folk Alternative music with a lot of banjo, that pretty well gives you an overview of the latest album Stars And Satellites from the Duluth, Minnesota based band Trampled by Turtles. You get a little bit of a back and forth motion through the album as about half the songs are mellow, and the other part have a nice uptempo rip roaring good time. Released about a month ago, you can pick it up as one of the $5.00 albums this month.

Album Review:
The L.A. based Silversun Pickups return with their third album Neck Of The Woods and the reviews by both fans and critics have been favorable though many fans have had to run the album through a few listens before recognizing the potential. The tempo and feel is a little bit more mellow that their two previous releases but each song seems to mix with the next song creating a very fluid album and quite a bargain at only $4.99 for a limited time.
