Album Review:
Shirley Bassey may be best known for singing the James Bond theme songs Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever, and Moonraker, but this Welsh singer has so much more to her repertoire. Golden Lady (Original Recordings Remastered) features 100 of her best (Non-Bond) songs for over an hours worth of classics making it a great collection at a fantastic price. Have a listen and you will see why she is considered one of the best voices of the last half of the 20th century.

Album Review:
Let’s end the month of March on a fun note with the Dream Pop self-titled album Melody’s Echo Chamber from French musician Melody Prochet. Critics quickly called the release “an impressively immersive debut” (Pitchfork Media) when first released in 2012 and one listen will let you see why. Recently the price dropped to $4.99 making it the perfect time to think about adding this to your collection.

The Heart Codes by Barry Goldstein
Album Review:
Must be time for a relaxing weekend as today’s is another new age mixed with a little bit of spiritual influence. The Heart Codes by Barry Goldstein is an hour long album meant for meditation, sleep, yoga, reiki, and other stress reducing activities. A couple bucks for reduced stress is a bargain.

Zeal by Roman Remains
Album Review:
Liela Moss and Toby Butler, from North London and members of the band The Duke Spirit, form a unique and dark music project named Roman Remains by combining a little Electro, Industrial and Dance with great tongue in cheek lyrics. Their new album Zeal, just like the group, is not well known but very impressive and available for an introductory price that should help them get the word around. If you have the opportunity, their concerts are supposed to be even better than their music.

Sounds from the Thievery Hi-Fi by Thievery Corporation
Album Review:
The DC based fusion duo of Rob Garza and Eric Hilton (aka Thievery Corporation) started in 1995 and a couple years later released their debut album Sounds from the Thievery Hi-Fi. While mainly Trip-Hop, you will also hear Rock, Jazz, Dance and Electronica influences on this full 76 minute album. A recent $4 drop has made this classic from the late 90s a great bargain.

Album Review:
Since March is Metal month, there have been numerous Metal Deals out there including the featured album The Mouths of Madness by Orchid. Taking inspiration from Black Sabbath, Orchid’s second album combines the sounds of heavy metal and classic rock with great riffs for a critically acclaimed release and the price has been fluctuating between $4.19 and $5.99 so if you see the it listed for $5.99, you may want to wait a few days for it to drop again.

Album Review:
Shortly after her debut album Bella Donna (Available for —) Rolling Stone called Stevie Nicks “The Reigning Queen of Rock and Roll” and Crystal Visions…The Very Best Of Stevie Nicks is evidence of that. A full 78 minutes of her best (including a couple covers and Fleetwood Mac songs renditions) such as Edge of Seventeen, Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around, Dreams [Remix], Rhiannon [Live], Rooms On Fire, Landslide [Live], Leather And Lace, and more. Not to be outdone, Stevie Nicks also showcases her collaborative work with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Deep Dish, Don Henley, and even the Melbourne Symphony. Just one of the 1400 $5.00 albums available right now.

Album Review:
Hip Hop and Christian music do not always go hand in hand but today’s featured album Wake Up by Swoope is just that and recently dropped in price. The opening track is a little surprising as there is snoring sounds throughout but it is used to set up the album as indicated by the title. If you like Christian and Hip Hop music, listen to the samples and give it a try.
