How Great Thou Art by Elvis Presley
Album Review:
Last call on for any of the 400+ $5.00 albums available including the classic gospel album How Great Thou Art by Elvis Presley. He is not only the King of Rock ‘n Roll, but Elvis used that silky smooth voice to praise on songs like How Great Thou Art, In The Garden, Somebody Bigger Than You And I, Stand By Me, Where Could I Go But To The Lord, Crying In The Chapel, You’ll Never Walk Alone, and more.

The Fault In Our Stars: Music From The Motion Picture by Various artists
Album Review:
There have been select soundtracks that have been discounted the past few days from Google Play and Amazon has began to match them including The Fault In Our Stars: Music From The Motion Picture featuring music by Ed Sheeran, Jake Bugg, Grouplove, Birdy, Kodaline, Tom Odell, Ray LaMontagne, M83, Jaymes Young, and more. Music has a way to both create and bring back memories and soundtracks help tie the viewers to the movies they watch. If you’ve seen The Fault In Our Stars, starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort, and enjoyed it, chances are you’ll enjoy the soundtrack as well.

Album Review:
Ben Hall and Simon James form the British electronic music duo Delta Heavy and their 2012 EP Down The Rabbit Hole from RAM Records features the regionally popular single “Get By” with two remixes and four additional tracks. Oddly enough, the EP is listed 3 different ways on Amazon except this one is only $1.99 while the other two are 3 times as expensive. If you are in the mood for a little Dubstep or Drum & Bass for your Friday, this is a good album opportunity at a good price, even if it is only about 30 minutes long.

PRISM by Katy Perry FREE from Google Play
PRISM by Katy Perry FREE from Google Play
Google Play appears to be offering a FREE album of the week. I hope they keep this new feature going as I don’t mind 52 free albums a year. This week’s album of the week is PRISM by Katy Perry featuring the songs Roar, Unconditionally, Dark Horse, Birthday, and This Is How We Do for a decently packed album at an impassable price. So far, no price match from Amazon.

The Outsiders [Explicit] by Eric Church
Album Review:
One of the featured $3.99 pop albums this past week is the fourth album from country music artist Eric Church, The Outsiders. The release features three main singles: Give Me Back My Hometown, Cold One, along with the title track. Critics have been positive about The Outsiders and has solidified his recent stance that “genres are dead” making it a cross over success.

A Messenger by Colton Dixon
Album Review:
Colton Dixon may not have made it past the top 7 on Season 11 of American Idol, that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been busy. A Messenger is his contemporary Christian debut from Sparrow Records and hit #1 on US Gospel Albums and US Christian Albums along with #15 on US Billboard 200. The main singles “Never Gone”, “Love Has Come for Me”, and “You Are” have done well on their own and helped sales of the album through the end of the year. Looking for a great CCM album, give this one a try. A Messenger is one of the over 400 available $5 albums this month.

Sing-A-Longs & Lullabies For The Film Curious George by Jack Johnson
Album Review:
I was looking for a fun family album for Friday and found it in one of my favorites Sing-A-Longs & Lullabies For The Film Curious George by Jack Johnson. If you have seen the movie, you will quickly recognize and fondly remember the folk style of Mr. Johnson on sings like Upside Down, People Watching, Talk Of The Town, We’re Going To Be Friends, Supposed To Be, and other greats. So go ahead and liven up your Friday with a happy album that is perfect for both adults and kids. Just one of the over 400 $5.00 albums available this month.
